OGC Director, Asst. Prof. Rameses De Jesus, served as resource speaker for the Public Forum on Gender and Mental Health, as part of the 20th anniversary celebration of Ugsad (Iloilo Regional Gender Resource Center), held July 25, at the Iloilo Science and Technology University Auditorium, and attended by 60 participants representing various local government units such as the Civil Service Commission, Bureau of Fire Protection, Bureau of Corrections, as well as state educational and service units.  This forum was also a first of its kind, as gender and mental health is rarely discussed, and the gathering resulted in a lively discussion with many questions and insights from such a varied set of participants. Ugsad Regional Gender Resource Center is a coordinating body composed of around 90 institutions that facilitate gender mainstreaming in Region VI (Western Visayas).
