UPOU Office of Gender Concerns in partnership with the Faculty of Management and Development Studies held a Research Forum entitled, “Exploring Women’s Narratives Through Appreciative Inquiry”, on March 22, 2019 at UPOU Audiovisual Room, as part of our Women’s Month celebration.
Dr. Cherry Alzona, Organization Development Consultant, discussed how Appreciative Inquiry highlights women empowerment and their roles — by focusing on their talents and capabilities as women. Dr. Emely Dicolen, Program Chair of the Diploma in/ Master of Social Work also presented the study entitled, “International Migration and Families Left Behind in Selected Areas of Region IV-A Philippines”, where Appreciative Inquiry was used in the methodology.
